Rasamas

So today is the 212321 times i went to the AEON Bukit Tinggi Shopping Centre, WHY? No! it’s not that i don’t have anywhere else better to go , it’s because my mom loves Jusco so much she just has to linger in that place for at least 1 hour daily without fail even if she doesn’t buy anything. Avid Jusco fan, i am still waiting for AEON to actually present an award to my mom for the Most Persistent Visitor Award 2007. Today is Hari Raya Korban which means Malays will be slaughtering poor cows just for the sake of watching them die painfully, sadist bastards >=( it’s not like they can’t get beefs from the morning market but they prefer having them hand cut by a selected mortal demon in an open field. It definitely takes more than just strength to do that. In any case, i hope 9/10 of the community that consumed beefs like these will get infected with AIDS.

My sister, my mom and I went to Jusco to find breakfast and we were all divided and finally we came to an agreement that is to enter this shop call “Rasamas“, if you don’t already know this restaurant is a branch out from Ayamas. Located at the 1st floor along the lane where the infamous Kim Gary Cafe and Black Canyon is. It has the fast food concept sticked to it meaning you will have to place your orders and pay at the counter, whatever that needs to be wait they will send to your table. So being our first time there we went to the counter and being a little bit confused on how things work here, we pointed at the menu that was on the counter to the person attending it namely; PrimeRoast Steak, 2 Curry Laksa, 1, Fried Chicken Wings, 1 Mineral Water and 1 Coke. Everything was fine until my mom requested for “Beehoon Mee” as opposed to the traditional “Mee Only” We do not know the nationality of that person attending to us but we sure hell know he’s not local and he’s cannot understand the language that we are speaking to him because he has been repeating “Kahri Laksha, Yes!, Kahri Laksha” -.- and finally, the store manager came by where Mr. Kahri asked for assistance with the super blur look on his face. We got our orders nonetheless.

Introducing Mr. Kahri Laksa, I bet he’s a Bangla!

At first, i thought PrimeRoast Steak was beef because it uses the word “S.T.E.A.K.!” but little did i know it refers to Chicken Steak. I was so eagerly waiting for it to be served on my table but damn when it came, i wanted to just sweep the pan down the floor. If you have eaten KFC’s Chicken Chop then the PrimeRoast Steak is slightly bigger compared to that and if you haven’t, it’s a chicken thigh sauced with just enough brown mushroom sauce. If you are a gravy hunter which i am then you’ll be very disappointed. Served with 2 long strips of garlic bread toasted to crisp which was excellent, a few potato wedges nothing to shout about and a small bowl of coleslaw and the pan is there to serve its function as a plate ONLY, really. If you’re a stubborn ass that refuses to believe me then yes, other than being a plate literally, it also serves as a decoration. To me, RM9.80 for a chicken steak of that portion and quality i say it’s not really worth the price. To sum it all up, if i knew the word “Steak” doesn’t refers to Beef’s “Steak” i won’t even bother looking at it.

I demand additional gravy!! >=(

My mom and my sister’s Curry Laksa was ordinary, nothing special about it. The only letdown of it was that the soup is not hot, it’s warm. Nobody eats warm Laksa BUT the amount of ingredients are generous =D The fried chicken wings was… amazingly not good >=( have you ever bought those Frozen Fried Chicken Wings? Yeah, they taste exactly like that and i bet they coated it with more baking soda because after eating it, our tongues felt like it has been bleached with Clorox over and over again. One more sickening thing about the Wings is that the blood stains can still be seen :ugh: when your teeth grazed against the bone i can tell you GAWD!!! that smell is just :hitwall:

Chicken Wings of Doom & The Bloody Bones -.-

The Curry Laksa was priced at RM6.50 per bowl and the Chicken Wings, RM5.90 for 3 pairs of them each cut into 2 parts, the drummet and the other whatever it is called part. I might go back to eat the Curry Laksa but definitely not the “S.T.E.A.K.” or the Chicken Wings again because i rather spent that money eating something else better like Fatman’s Lok Lok on Pasar Malam nights. The customer service was good though which is to my surprise.

“Only Chai Approves” Restaurant

    On your comment about Hari Raya Korban practice, I think you should read more about Islam and its practice before condemning it. Read the Quran before judging other people’s belief.

    Sorry don’t have much time to waste on reading comic books lately and i’m not interested in Islamic studies because if i am, i’d already taken that as one of my optional studies or have my penis circumcised when i was born =)

    anyway, since you are somewhat trying to prove that what i understand is false. Why don’t you put forward evidence to support what you claimed?

    thanks Malay for dropping by.
