Pathology
Genre : Crime | Horror | Thriller
Plot : It’s all about inflicting pain and cutting
It has been lightyears since i last seen a movie in the cinemas and Pathology has to the “ice-breaker” to my so long of absence to the cinemas. This movie has been around for quite sometime but it didn’t catch my attention until my girlfriend told me about it. Everybody would have recognised the main character or the hero in this movie, Milo Ventimiglia who is also the pretty boy in the popular TV series “Heroes” who is omnipotent but in Pathology, this boy doesn’t have all the powers he wanted but he does have his own ability to take another’s life which is by killing.
This movie has a twisted plot to it, a group of pathology students who are quite sick in their mindset or should i say love their field of studies too much and find the ordinary cause of death of the bodies that are send in for autopsy too boring. The leader decided to play a game, the rules are each members take turn to find a victim and then kill them with the most unique way. The rest of the members will gather and find out how the victim died. If nobody finds out how the victim dies then the killer wins and vice-versa but the true game is actually about cutting the victim open in the most brutal and inhumane way.
Ted, played by Milo Ventimiglia is a new entry student who has excellent education records was assigned to join this group and is slowly being influenced by the leader and finally succumb to the seduction after seeing the dark side of life but he was quick to wake up from this demonic act and decided to take out all the group members one night by blowing up the meeting place but as always, the leader of the group somehow miraculously survived the bombing and took revenge upon him through his girlfriend. Filled with anger, he lured the leader out and then killed the leader the exact way how the leader killed his girlfriend but with 10 times more the pain.
I won’t say i like this movie because i am never a fan of gruesome pictures filled with blood and gore by right this movie should go under the type of movies that i hate watching but because it has quite a decent storyline to it, i think it deserved to be saved. I would consider this movie a level just above a B-grade, JUST-A-LEVEL! On and all, it’s just a very painful movie and nothing else. A sick movie too and i wouldn’t recommend it to people who doesn’t have a stomach for this. Kids are generally not encouraged because of the amount of sexual contents here, not to mention the profanities.
