The movie world has a fair share of animations being released to the big screen and i must say, Bolt is perhaps the one that i most anticipated for. Maybe for the plain fact that it has a dog and i love dogs but setting that truth apart, Bolt is definitely a great show to go to the cinema to watch with anyone of your choice. What’s more intriguing is that it was said that Bolt is 2nd to Wall-E.

At the beginning, it shows how Bolt was adopted by Penny and this is the confusing part. There’s no indication to show that whether that adoption was a scene part of the ‘movie’ that Bolt was in or was it a scene in Bolt (the one that we are watching) Whatever it is, the directors never explained how Bolt got into the movie world. Ok, so Bolt is a dog actor and is very good at it and maybe just a little bit too good until the extend that he thinks that he really has super powers and his owner, Penny is constantly in danger.

Bolt being the extremely loving and paranoid pet dog who worries about Penny’s safety finally landed him in big trouble when the director decided to trick Bolt into believing that Penny really got kidnapped by the villain not knowing Bolt’s determination. Bolt escaped from his trailer searching for Penny but to no avail and got himself shipped across the United States after accidentally falling into a moving company’s box. The real story begins here when Bolt takes on the task of ’saving’ Penny. Throughout his journey, he met some good companions and Bolt was taught on how to become a real dog after knowing that he doesn’t actually have super powers. It’s very cute to see how Bolt go through that process of learning.

I came across a review article on the newspaper the other day and it was said that one of Bolt’s companion, Mittens has a sarcastic characteristic which i find that comment unfair because Mittens had barely shown any sign of sarcasm except for just a few lines to tease Bolt of thinking that he has super powers. In the end, Bolt can be considered as an animation which belongs in the higher rank of the animation hierarchy. There’s no way to describe how good and beautiful Bolt is animated on the screen and the best way is for you guys to see it for yourself. This is an animation that will make you go “awww…” and laugh at the same time. Trust me, you guys won’t regret.
