This song is supposed to be a sad song (judging from the translated version) but the MV doesn’t in anyway indicate so or maybe i just interpreted the whole thing wrongly o_O? The whole thing begin when this seriously smooth chick mistakenly called Mr. Jay here and asked him “y dun wan me liao?” and got a very cool reply stating that she got the wrong number. The next day, Mr. Jay received a 3 snapshot photo of this girl via MMS with the message “sorry!” SO i’m guessing it is for the mistake made and SOMEHOW this girl suddenly build up an interest into sending Mr. Jay MMS almost every single day which of course lead to both party falling into a virtual love relationship (or should i say romantic cellphone relationship -.-)
Shi- happens, girl gives boy clues and started playing hide and seek. Both found each other and the next thing you know, roses are blooming; the sun is shining; the coffee is boiling and everyday is a good day. *refer to line 3 of the lyrics* the rest of the scenes are all self-explanatory henceforth. Happy ending too unless you consider 2 love birds hugging is a sign of famine and predicament. But there’s one really cool trick in this MV if you guys are not already using it, waste a few cents and say things you don’t dare to speak face to face by using the SMS. Why, one might ask. Reasons are simple: -
- if you are a very shy sensitive person, it will definitely save you. sometimes saying things out isn’t as easy as you think they are.
- some girl digs gadgets, receiving messages through the cellphone means A LOT to them.
- keeps the romantic and silent mood that fills the air. you don’t break the silence by speaking Class 1 English like “i lap u“. turns everyone off almost instantly. my advice, just STFU and ask for a kiss.
- the best way to ask “Yes/No” questions without the need to speak. if it is a YES usually a smile would appear, if a sad and frowning face appears instead, let’s just say you are screwed =/
