I have never liked the elections held in Malaysia, NEVAR but i never hate it either until this year. It changed my perception towards it entirely, i am now an official hater of the Malaysian Election Council or whatever shi- that you would want to call it, not that it makes any difference anyway. It is of common rule that all candidates are allowed to campaign and previously it was carried out in a very decent way (speeches, flyers, posters etc.) but this year, HOHO i can find no words other than BARBARIC to describe them. I don’t know whether is it authorized by the council to allow such inhumane campaigning strategy to be carried out but i know the political parties are doing it IN my area >=(

Though i never like the method of how these fliers are attached and tied all around town because obviously they are a sore eye to everyone but i guess it cannot be helped however this to me are still acceptable. Candidates are also allowed to give speeches in public to manifest their objectives if they are successfully selected, THAT also is another nuisance IMO. WHY? Few days ago, Klang town was hit by some really major massive traffic congestion almost everywhere because of retarded candidates doing so -.- RELA volunteers sets up road blocks narrowing roads that are supposed to be 3 lanes to 1, all for the purpose of giving these candidates opportunity to tell more lies. I don’t know why but this year, Barisan National is making some really heavy advertisement asking people to vote for them. Is this a sign that they know they are going to lose a f-load of votes because of the shi-s they have committed when they were government?
We went out to have supper just now because all of a sudden, my whole housing area’s electricity supply was cut off and it went to as far as AEON Bukit Tinggi, desperate to find refuge we head over to Bukit Tinggi’s Sri Pelita to ‘mamak‘ and that place was congested with cars, motorcycles and almost any vehicles that you can imagine, traffic lights were down by the way. A very drastic and horrible change this year in terms of campaigning strategies are that now political parties are allowed to hire random people to help and by random people i mean people who do not have any experience in doing so previously. They are just random blokes from around town, probably get reimbursements. Party flags are attached to trucks, cars and even motorcycles for that matter. What disappoints me is that, these vehicles acted as if they own the road simply honking at people for no reason at all, motorcyclists doing Mat Rempit stunts and revving their pitiful 250cc engines. Clearly, it’s going to deliver a very wrong message to the general public. At least it did to me >=( (so much for Badawi’s TAKNAK campaign to Mat Rempits)

After withstanding approximately 45minutes of noise pollution outside, we decided to go home and pray that the electricity has come back on but sadly no, it hasn’t and so we took out those white candles and play =D (no pun intended). Thank God that electricity came back online after 30minutes and everyone was happy.
To sum things up, i am totally disgraced with the fact that all these nonsense are allowed to take place. If the parties want to hire volunteers to help out at least have a guideline requiremens of people that are eligible and not to simply grab anyone who are unemployed and enjoy loitering around. They are representing the candidates that we are going to vote so that we can rely on these candidates to uphold our rights. Allowing such nonsense to happen is like asking us to put our hopes in Mat Rempits and gangsters, asking them to rev their motorcycles in our Dewan Rakyat :whee:
I hope Barisan National loses a lot of seats this year and just barely get enough seats to fulfill the 2/3 mark. Someone needs to teach them a lesson!
